A truck driver watches as a trackhoe loads another scoop of dirt into his rig on Tuesday afternoon at the College of Eastern Utah campus. The construction that is going on there surrounds the library, as cement utility tunnels that were condemned are being replaced with metal pipes that are big enough to walk through. Periodic closures of buildings on campus have been taking place because of electrical and water system transfers during the construction. The project, that now divides the campus in half with a long chain link fence will be done around the first part of October.
