Construction phase nearing completion on communications tower near Helper

Jason Lewellyn and Councilman Robert Welch work on the top piece of a new communications tower while Helper Police Chief George Zamantakis stands below assisting in the process. The tower will provide emergency personnel additional radio band coverage from Helper to the Blue Cut, something needed for a long time. The funding for the project came through the Southeastern Utah Health District.
