Mike Fercik and Keenan Johnson of Kingsmen Dragstrip Association study a map of the area proposed for a local drag strip with Kurt Higgins of the Utah State Institutional Trust Lands and Steve Lessar of ConocoPhillips.

Project proponents hope to secure the funding to build an approved National Hotrod Association Dragstrip south of Price for not only local racers to use, but to attract major events to the area.

The four later toured the site on foot to review the lay of the land and look for potential conflicts with other property users.
