Republicans select Huntsman to square off against Matheson on November ballot

With only a small number of Carbon County Republicans showing up at the primary election polls to cast ballots, volunteers Gloria Regis, Lucy Norton and Annette Callor had a lot of time for sewing while manning the voting location at the Helper fire station Tuesday. Turnout was low across the state, but Republicans selected Jon Huntsman Jr. to square off against Democrat Scott Matheson Jr. for the governor's office in November.
