Emergency personnel and ambulance crew members assist at the scene of an automobile-bicycle accident June 11 on Main Street in Price.

James Ellsworth Taylor, age 58 of Michigan, was thrown from his bicycle Friday morning in front of Ricardo's Restaurant when the victim was reportedly struck by a Jeep Cherokee driven by 19-year-old Randy Herrera of Price. Herrera was cited for failure to yield to a bicyclist in connection with the mishap, indicated the Price City Police Department incident report.

Taylor was traveling east in the side lane when he was reportedly struck by the Jeep Cherokee. The victim's bicycle was smashed by the vehicle, but police officials indicate Taylor was not seriously injured in the accident.
