Utah Department of Transportation employees scoop up rocks and dirt that have fallen during the winter on U.S. Highway 6 slightly below the entrance into the Price Recreation Area. The work is the beginning of the activities planned by UDOT and the state agency's contractors in the canyon during the summer. Soon, work will start on repaving and seal and chip projects as well as a bridge reconstruction job near the Peerless port of entry. Residents should be aware that traffic delays may occur in the canyon and motorists should prepare for that.
