Carbon athletes named academic all-state

Two Carbon High female athletes made the Deseret Morning News' 3A softball academic all-state team this season. Only the top 10 female student athletes in 3A softball are chosen for the academic team based upon their grade point average.

Lady Dinos Kacee Robinson and Brittany Pollastro were two of the 10 athletes selected for the team which had a combined GPA of 3.99.

In addition to softball, Pollastro was also named to the girls academic all-state track team. This is the fourth time this season Pollastro has been recognized for excellence as a student athlete.
