Bubble comes down during day of hard labor at Desert Wave Pool

Terry Olson, Tom Richardson, Steve Quintana and Lyle Bauer work to wind up the cables that support the Price Desert Wave Pool bubble during the winter months. The annual ritual of taking down the winter time protection over the swimming facility was accomplished on Tuesday as dozens of Price City workers spend their day putting away the large white covering for another season. Workers on the site say they have learned over the many years of putting up and taking down the structure not only how to do it more efficiently, but also how to handle and store it so it will last longer. Next fall it will be time to put it up again, but as for now, swimmers can bask in the bright eastern Utah sun.
