Iraq war veteran discusses battlefield experiences with youth

United States Army Captain Daine Olson fields a question from a student at Peterson Elementary last Thursday. Olson recently returned from serving more than a year in the combat zones in Iraq. The Carbon County native has been in the U.S. Army for seven years. After a 30-day leave, Olson will return to Fort Carson, Colo. The captain is assigned to the Third Armored Calvary Regiment, known as the 'Brave Rifles.'
