Mr. Richard Shaw, the Sun Advocate reporter, had two very good articles this past week regarding economic situations in Carbon County.

Carbon and Emery counties do have one good positive of a possible economic and industrial hope in the opening of the Lila Canyon Coal Mine in the Book Cliff area. That will only happen if the state department of Division of Oil, Gas & Mining receives good support from Carbon and Emery County citizens.
