Emergency personnel place blocks under a vehicle that rolled Monday morning on U.S. Highway 6 south of Helper. Crews from Helper, the Carbon County Sheriff's Office, ambulance garage and Utah Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The vehicle's door had to be pryed open and the driver had to be extricated through a broken windsheild, but the motorist walked to the ambulance. The worst local accident to occur during the holiday weekend claimed the life of 20-year-old Trever R. Taylor of Tooele on Sunday afternoon. Taylor 's vehicle reportedly drifted off the right side of U.S. 6 and slid into the oncoming lanes of traffic when the driver overcorrected near milepost 262. Taylor's 1995 Honda collided with a vehicle driven by Justin M. Brown, 24 of Shaker Heights, Ohio. Brown was uninjured in the accident.
