Southern Idaho denies CEU

Pitcher Kyle Tash and catcher Cory Newton meet at the mound.

College of Southern Idaho blanketed College of Eastern Utah, taking all four games of last weekend's baseball series.

Southern Idaho pitched a 2-0 shutout to begin the back-to-back double headers and followed with a close, 7-6 victory.

The following afternoon, CSI took the third and fourth games 9-1 and 9-3.

Eastern Utah is currently 5-15 in Scenic West Athletic Conference standings. Southern Idaho rises to 13-7.

The Eagles host Southern Nevada April 9 and 10.
