Carbon third baseman Rachelle Gunderson makes a quick play on a bunter during Thursday's softball game against North Sanpete. The game was postponed in the bottom of the fifth inning after rainshowers made the field conditions unplayable. Carbon came out strong to start the game, taking a 2-0 lead. However, Lady Dino errors resulted in unearned runs, allowing the Hawks to take the lead. North Sanpete was up 6-3 when the game was called. When the contest is rescheduled later in the season, Carbon will begin with a runner on first and no outs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
