Carbon youth wrestling dominates tourney

Each weekend, Carbon youth wrestling travels to a new Utah destination for freestyle and folkstyle tournaments in preparation for the state qualifying tournament in April 16 and 17.

On April 2 and 3, the program will host its tournament at Carbon High.

Following are the results from the Feb. 28 tournament at Wasatch High in Heber.

Brent Avery, 2nd freestyle; Jason Avery, 4th freestyle; Bryce Jackman, 1st freestyle; Kyler Key, 1st freestyle, 1st folkstyle; Johnny O'Hearon, 1st freestyle, 3rd folkstyle; Jarod Lasser, 2nd freestyle, 2nd folkstyle; Tyler Procarionne, 2nd freestyle, 2nd folkstyle; Caleb Williams, 1st freestyle, 1st folkstyle.
