Snow makes the cold season bearable in Castle Country

Mandy Whiteside gives Stacy Jensen a good start on her sled at Terrace Hills Park in Price on Thursday afternoon. The white stuff on the ground in the area is decreasing as the days warm up, but there is still plenty around the valley to have fun in. At present snow pack levels in the Mammoth-Cottonwood and White River drainage are at near 100 percent for this time of year. But as the high pressure continues over the area, and the time passes when storms normally come in, those totals will slip below that high percentage quickly if more inclement weather doesn't appear. The forecast is for more sunny days most of this week with a couple of small disturbances coming through periodically.
