Celeste Stewart and Nickole Larson deny a Wasatch Academy player looking for a pass. The Lady Vikings coasted easily to a 44-21 win.

In their first victory of the season, teamwork proved to be the winning factor for East Carbon.

Seven out of the 10 players contributed points and all 10 made a court appearance in the 42-21 win over the Wasatch Academy Tigers.

Samantha Madrid led the Lady Vikings with 15 points and Amanda Hepworth added 10.

Nickole Larson scored eight and sparked the team with multiple steals.

Donna Turner had four points, Bethany Hanson added three and Raelyn Peak and Julie Bass added two.
