Drop-off rates climb at animal shelters

A curious puppy and cat explore the Carbon County Animal Shelter while Shannon Adams cleans the facility's cages. According to Adams, adoptions slow down at the shelter after the Christmas rush for pets. However, animal drop-off rates increase during the colder months and many pets are currently waiting to be adopted by loving families.
