Accompanied by two Labrador companions, Rory and Glenda Greenwood enjoy the newly fallen snow in the Carbonville area on Christmas Day. Many Castle Valley residents welcomed the white surprise and ventured outdoors in the afternoon when there was a break in the weather to walk or play in the fluffy stuff. By Christmas evening, the storm moved back in and dumped a lot more snow in the county.
