John Anselmo recently celebrated his 81st birthday with family and friends.
He was born in Columbia on Dec. 22, 1922 to Joseph and Caterina Anselmo. He was married to Juanita Pilling and they had four children, Debra, Joe, Angela and John Jr. He is the grandfather to 10 and great-grandfather of seven, with twins due in the spring.
