Danielle Johnston and Ashley Chatterton assemble gingerbread houses in the students' third grade class at Petersen Elementary. East Carbon resident June Stevenson has been bringing the pre-made houses for the students for eight years. The students bring candy decorations to build colorful and tasty holiday scenes. Stevenson began the tradition when her grandson was a student in the class.
