Landmark main building starts to crumble, disappear from college campus

A track hoe hacks at the administrative wing on College of Eastern Utah's main building Tuesday afternoon. A larger track hoe was preparing to start on the two story section of the building, one of the original structures built for the college in 1938. The attached Geary Theatre, however, will be left standing to become part of a fine arts center . After more than 60 years of fronting the campus, the building will soon disappear.
