Snowfall blankets high country in mountains surrounding Castle Valley
Mounds of snow cover a road in Clear Creek. On the ridges above the small town and toward Sanpete County, the snow measures nearly one foot deep. Several reports for the Price River drainage system indicate that the snowpack currently registers at 125 percent of average. As of last Friday, nearly one foot of the wintery white stuff had reportedly fallen in the area around Lower Gooseberry Reservoir.
