Carbon diving

Lyn'D Anderson and Michael Glasson both competed on Nov. 1 in Carbon's first qualifying meet of the year at Mountain Crest High.

Anderson, a junior, placed in the medals, taking fifth out of 20 female divers.

Glasson, a sophomore, finished in 10th place out of 20 male divers.

Coach Stewart Foster said both athletes were nervous in the first meet of the year and that both could have placed higher.

The next meet will be at the Desert Wave Pool on Dec. 6. Warmups begin at 10 a.m. and the meet begins at 11 a.m.
