Carbon County driver injured in single-vehicle accident on Old Wellington Road

Wellington emergency personnel concentrate on prying open a door and extricate a motorist from a late model Cadillac following an Oct. 29 accident on Old Wellington Road. The driver, Loretta Thayn, was injured after the vehicle reportedly left the roadway Wednesday and collided into a steel fence at approximately 3:30 p.m. The victim was transported from the accident scene to Castleview Hospital for treatment.
