Brett Riche brings a Delta runner to the ground during a Region 8 game earlier this year. Carbon traveled to Ogden last Wednesday to take on the Tigers. The Dinos captured the non-region victory by the final score, 12-6.

The Carbon Dinos traveled to Ogden last Wednesday with a 2-5 overall record under their belts. The team hoped to improve their standings on the road as they faced the Tigers in non-region action.

This is just what the Dinos did as they stunned the northern Utah team by winning the non-region battle by the final score, 12-6.

The win was not a fancy one by no means, but Carbon got the job done.

In the second quarter, the Dinos managed to score a one yard run for a touchdown boosting the team ahead of the Tigers, 6-0.

Bryan Stewart then ran for 30 yards prior to the half thus advancing the Dinos ahead of Ogden, 12-0.

The only offense that Ogden could mustar was two field goals in the third quarter. This was not enough to capture the win however as Carbon returned to Price with the victory under their belts.

With only one final season game on their schedule, Carbon is looking to increase their overall record and more importantly, capture their first and only region win of the year.

Carbon will finish the season Friday, October 24 on the road as they face North Sanpete.
