East Carbon was eliminated from the state tournament on Monday night by the Panguitch Bobcats. The final score was 10-0.

East Carbon baseball players left the field for the last time in the 2003 season on Monday night.

The Vikings were eliminated from the state quarter finals by Panguitch.

The game ended 10-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning by the ten-run rule.

Coach Lucas Ingram said Panguitch played a great all-around game, although he thought his team could have made a better showing.

"We accomplished some goals and got to state," he commented. "Hopefully we can improve on this for next season."
