What do you get when take 800 kids, a beautiful fall day in the city park, give them all the hotdogs, ice cream, slushes and sodas they can drink and turn them loose with games and races? You get 800 smiles, a lot of grins and more energy than imaginable. It happens every September. The Price Kiwanis Club has made this day a community tradition and everything is free for every kid in the community. In addition to the food and prizes, the club drew names and gave away 10 brand new bikes and trikes. In addition to the races, RJ the clown was passing out balloons, the recreation department hosted the climbing wall, Party Express had an activity table and the jumping gym drew long lines. There were also face painters, ring tosses and basketball hoops.
