Local football teams set to collide tonight at Carbon High stadium

The Helper Junior High football team is undefeated this season. They face Mont Harmon tonight at Carbon High.

Undefeated Helper Junior High will take on the Mont Harmon Pirates for local football action tonight at the Carbon High field.

Helper is coming off a 38-14 win over San Rafael on Sept. 18.

Tailback Colton Howes rushed for 242 yards, including touchdown runs of 80,77,50 and 25 yards. Preston Wilson also played big for the Rams, returning a kickoff for 80 yards.

Mont Harmon also recently defeated San Rafael in overtime, 26-20.

JJ Blue ran for 94 yards and was six of 12 passing for 82 yards. He scored two Mont Harmon touchdowns.

Marcus Zaccaria had a five yard touchdown run for the Pirates and Robee Muncy had a 15 yard reception for a score.

Tonight's matchup begins at 7 p.m.
