Mike Peczuh scrambles to bale alfalfa in Carbonville on Tuesday in an attempt to beat the rain that was starting to fall in the area. Fields of partially baled hay are a common scene in many places in the county due to recent rainstorm. Alfalfa cannot be baled until the crop is completely dry or the hay can spoil or cause fires in stacks. Alfalfa represents one of the primary agricultural products in the Carbon County.
