Local residents celebrate Labor Day with outdoor excursions

Carbon residents and visitors to Castle Valley take advantage of the Labor Day holiday to enjoy a trip to local reservoirs during one of the final weekends of the 2003 summer season. Boats skimmed across the surface of the water at Millsite, Scofield, Huntington and Joes Valley reservoirs, while most campgrounds at the state parks in the Carbon-Emery area were filled nearly to capacity last weekend.
