Crossing guard Susan Perri stops traffic for a Creekview Elementary student before school Monday. With school in session, motorists should exercise caution and remain alert for children walking along roadways. In addition, school buses flash yellow lights when the vehicles are preparing to stop. Flashing red lights mean the buses are unloading or loading children. Motorists traveling in both directions should slow down in response to a yellow signal and stop when buses flash the red lights.
