Back to School

Whether it's kindergarten or graduation year, in Sunnyside or Helper, taking courses in learning to read or advanced physics, back to school means a change in life, a difference in routine and a time for work and for play.

The regular public schools in Carbon County begin classes on August 21, Pinnacle Canyon Academy on August 25 and the College of Eastern Utah begins its course work on the evening of August 18.

For some, those just entering school or starting anew, it is a time of beginnings. For others the time back will bring reunions with old friends.

What this school year brings remains to be seen. Academic highs, sports championships, marvelous social events and just the fun of everyday learning will make it a special time.
