Trains, Tracks and Trestles
The coming of the railroad to remote Utah brought endless possibilities; the coal industry, farming and ranching had access to markets; equipment could be brought in and their products shipped out and people. The train brought and took away people.
The railroad, now with over a century of history here continues to be a vital force in Carbon county.
