Soroptimist club honors local resident

Debra Cary is present with the women's opportunity award by Charlotte Stubbings, president of Soroptimist International of Price. The award is part of a scholarship program sponsored by the international organization.

Cary was the first place winner of the local award and her application placed second in the Rocky Mountain Region competition earning her a cash prize.

Applications for the 2004 scholarship competition will be available in October through the local soroptimist chapter.
