Blanton along with Richard Bissell, scoutmaster for troop 855, Mike Keller, principal at the Castle Valley Center, and Joe Patteson, representing BSA.

Bowdy Blanton, a student attending the Castle Valley Center in Price was recognized in a recent area Boy Scout meeting. Bowdy received a national award from the Boy Scouts of America for his actions in preventing a student at the center from running onto a busy main street in Price. Bowdy is in troop 855 sponsored by the Castle Valley Center.
