Editor:

I have known John Jones for over 10 years. He is a genuinely honest person who truly cares for his city, his communities, and for his county.

John has worked extremely hard during his six years as County Commissioner. Just recently, he spent 24 straight hours volunteering in the clean up efforts for our communities after being flooded.

John Jones has kept his campaign promises and has worked diligently to make those promises come true.

When re-elected, John will be able to continue his work for achieving all of the goals he has set for himself concerning our county.

Contact John on his Facebook Page or call him at 435-650-4515. Ask him questions regarding his work as County Commissioner. Give John the chance to put your mind at ease concerning the well-being of our great county.

Should John not be re-elected, Carbon County will lose its voice on several (11 to be exact) committees. These committees will replace John with other people who are not concerned about Carbon County.

One particular committee is the Western Counties Alliance. This committee represents counties from across the Western United States. It may be interesting for you to know that 95 percent of the federal land lies within their borders. John and this committee work on federal issues that affect local economies like ours across the west. Don't let "a lack of voice" happen to Carbon County. We need our voices to be heard! Please re-elect John Jones as County Commissioner this November.
