Preliminary reports have confirmed that a Wellington juvenile was killed Saturday night after colliding with a coal truck on Ridge Road.

While a release has not yet been issued by the Carbon County Sheriff's Office, several law enforcement agents did confirm that a 15-year-old male was killed when his motorcycle made impact with a coal truck on Ridge Road and Lower Miller Creek Road.

It has been reported that the incident occurred around 8 p.m. It is not known at this time when the juvenile was pronounced dead.

This is a developing story, the Sun Advocate will post additional information as it is made available.
