The Helper American Legion baseball team beat St. George 9-0 in Logan Friday night to win their second straight state title.

Cole Fossat pitched a complete game one-hitter and the Helper offense capitalized on five St. George errors and four key RBIs from Dillon Wilstead to win the legion championship.

St. George forced Friday's rematch one day earlier by hanging an impressive 8-0 shutout on a Helper squad that was undefeated in state tournament play.

Helper will now travel to Surprise, Arizona to represent Utah at the Western Regionals starting on Aug. 7.
