Paul Keller, former Juvenile Court judge, dies in Salt Lake City

Paul Crawford Keller, a former judge who served in Price for over three decades, passed away last week at the age of 88.

Keller died on Thursday in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age, according to his obituary. His full obituary can be found on page 13A.

Keller served as a city judge in Price for seven years and also as a juvenile court judge for 29 years in the Seventh District for the State of Utah.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1925 in Castle Dale, Utah to Albert Daniel Keller and Margaret Crawford Keller. He spent his childhood in Castle Dale before moving to the Price area during high school. Following high school, he served in the United States Air Force and later attended the University of Utah going on to earn a Juris Doctor Degree in 1951.

He married his wife, Flora, in Salt Lake City on Dec. 31, 1953.

He is survived by his wife, four children, two sisters and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in his honor in Murray on Monday morning before he was laid to rest in the Price City cemetery later in the afternoon.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a contribution to the Caresource Charitable Foundation or a hospice of choice.
