PRICE - Lawrence Edward Hawkins (Larry) passed away on June 24, 2014. Born on Sept. 7, 1926 to Frank and Cora Hawkins in Clarksville, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 44 years Nora Mae Hawkins, brother Leon Hawkins, daughter Sharlene Loomis, and grandsons Danny Cramer, Greg Hester, and Randy McManus Jr.
He is survived by wife of 25 yrs Karlene (Wise) Hawkins of Wellington, daughters Paula Cramer of Littleton, Colo. and Marlene Bixenman of ElDorado Hills, Calif., sister Mildred Sullivan of Russelville, Ark., stepchildren Randy McManus, Delisa McManus, Ronnie and Rick Jones, Jaime and Scott Donaldson, Bailey and Bryan Ketchum, 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lawrence was an Ordained Minister with the Full Gospel Church in Denver, Colo. where he worked in ministry for many years. He moved his family to California to take care of his wife's parents. He worked driving truck for Pacific Rock until he retired. He lost his teenage sweetheart in 1987. He then married his current wife, Karlene, in 1988. The couple continued to live in California until 1995, moving to Russelville, Ark., and finally Wellington, Utah.
Lawrence was a wonderful, caring father always sharing advice with a loving heart but also being able to sternly correct with the same kind heart. He will be greatly missed but we take comfort in knowing we will be reunited in Heaven.
