Judith Anne Potter; 48, of Cedar City passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014.
She was born in Price on May 16, 1966, to Mack and Judy Potter. She graduated from Carbon High School with special interests in music and theater. Throughout her life she worked in multiple family businesses and became a successful entrepreneur as co-founder of 3-Rivers, Inc. Drilling & Blasting. She was driven and worked hard to provide for her family.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she had a strong testimony of our Savior, eternal families and served happily in church callings. Judith was a wonderful mother and wife. As a woman of great faith she gave selflessly to anyone in need.
People were naturally drawn to Judith by her fun loving personality. Her glowing smile, contagious laugh, and silly sense of humor could brighten any day. In her spare time she enjoyed driving fast cars and trips to the sand dunes. She had a beautiful soprano voice and shared this talent often. The moments she cherished most were spent with her family.
Judith is survived by her three children; Jordan Perri, Cearra (Travis) Jones, Karli (Broderick) Melling, her husband Shayne Potter, her mother Judy Potter Moss, and brothers Jae, Mackae and Tom Potter. Judith was anxiously awaiting her first grandchild arriving this September.
A private family viewing will be held prior to the funeral. Funeral services were on Monday, July 7, 2014, in Cedar City at the Fiddlers Canyon LDS Chapel. Graveside service will be held at the Huntington City Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com
