Local sculptor gains high honor

A portrait sculpture of Karen Jobe Templeton's was recently honored at the Portrait Society of America's 2003 International Portrait Competition in Washington, D.C. She received a Certificate of Merit for her sculpture "KENT," as one of the top 15 out of over 1000 entries. Karen's work continues to garner national and international awards as she becomes a much respected member in world of fine art portraiture.
