HELPER - Jane (Demetra) Diamanti Juliano, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully Friday, June 13, 2014 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born to Gust Diamanti and Angelina Chamas Diamanti on December 10, 1926 in Price, Utah. Married Domenic James Juliano June 18, 1955 in Elko, Nevada. He died November 17, 1980.

Jane worked part-time as a sales clerk/cashier for The Toggery in Helper and Price Trading Company in Price, Utah. She was also a teacher's aide at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper. Her last job was as a clerk for Helper City. She was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price, Utah, Greek Orthodox Philoptochos of Price, Lady Elks, Carbonite Ladies Club, Sassy Ladies, Variety Club for 50+ years and the Helper Dinner Dance. Jane also served on the Supervisory Committee for the D&RGW/Balance Rock Credit Union. She enjoyed people and loved to play cards with her family and friends. She enjoyed taking the Smith's Bus to Wendover to play the quarter slots with her special friends and daughter. Jane enjoyed traveling with friends and family and especially cherished her trip to Greece to meet her relatives for the first time with her son and daughter. She bowled for many years in Helper on the Monday Ladies League and Friday Mixed League. She was always ready to do lunch or shop with friends. She looked forward to her nightly dinners with her son, Joey. Her pride and joy were her granddaughters Kristina and Jessica.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Tim) Laros of Park City, son, Joe (Pamela) Juliano of Helper, granddaughters Kristina and Jessica Juliano of Salt Lake City, brothers, Gregory Diamanti of Oakland, California and Jim (VonNeil) Diamanti of Grand Junction, Colorado, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Domenic, parents, sister, Stella, and sister-in-law, Demetra Diamanti.

The family would like to give their sincere thanks to Donna Davis, Dr. Karen Radley and CNS, especially Willow and Anna.

Trisagion service, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 7:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 Main Street, Price, Utah. Funeral service Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 11:00 am at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 61 South 200 East, Price, Utah. Family will receive friends at Mitchell's Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment Mt. View Cemetery,Helper. In memory of Jane, memorial contributions can be made to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, PO Box 688, Price UT 84501. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jane at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
