A crime scene academy participant processes evidence during a practical exercise last Friday. Students, law enforcement officers and investigators from across the state attended the workshop hosted by College of Eastern Utah.

The week long event provided hands-on training in crime scene investigation. Participants learned about crime scene photography and fingerprinting along with bloodstain identification.

The session concluded with a staged murder scene at the Bertenshaw dorms on the CEU campus in Price.
