PRICE - Jack Samuel Krebs, age 77, returned home on May 22, 2014 to go fishing with his brothers.
He was born June 15, 1936 to John Jr. and Maxine Graham Krebs in Scofield.
He married Nanalee Evans on Oct. 4, 1965 and later divorced.
His biggest joys in life were his daughter and his grandchildren. He served nine years in the Air Force. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, golfing, and especially the family outings to Scofield.
He was thoughtful, caring, and always thought of others. Oh and his sense of humor was unforgettable.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He will forever be his little girl's hero.
He is survived by his daughter Jacki (Chet) Houskeeper of Price. Grandchildren Autumn Osburn (Andy), Tiffany Olsen, Kaleigh (Zakhary) Armstrong, and Chet (Jr) Houskeeper all of Price. 4 great-grandchildren Jayden, Justen, Kashleigh, and Rieker. His beautiful sisters Mary Ellen Carter of Levan, UT and Joan (Oscar) Creer of Nephi, UT. Many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and best friend James Richard Krebs, brother-in-law Keith Elmer Carter, and dear friend Sherrie Salee.
Per Jack's request he was cremated and there will be a memorial service Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main, Price). Family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to service.
