County observes Memorial Day

The Carbon County community joined with the rest of the nation Monday in remembrance of the country's war dead and other loved ones on Memorial Day. Above and below, veterans of the American Legion, Marine Corps League and Veterans of Foreign Wars present arms during the sounding of Taps at Helper's Mountain View Cemetery. Below, they fire a rifle salute at the Price City Cemetery. Every grave throughout Castle Country had at least one small flower, thanks to the outpouring of community support for the No Graves Unadorned project.
