PRICE,WHITTIER,CA- Janet Elaine Landberg, 70, left her earthly home peacefully with her beloved angels on May 1, 2014.
She was born March 2, 1944 in San Diego, Calif. to Bert and Violette E. Heitkamp Landberg.
Jan grew up in Southern California where she lived and attended school before moving to Price in 2008. She was employed at Kaman Corporation as an Administrative Assistant for several years. She and her husband, Paul Moffatt, owned a florist shop by the name of Hearts & Flowers prior to moving to the Price area.
Jan was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Price where she was lovingly involved with their fundraising activities.
She was a loving wife, daughter, and loyal friend. She was a supportive caregiver to her mother, Violette Mullins for many years. Jan also loved her needlework, such as embroidery and crocheting, along with other crafting hobbies. Most of the beautiful needlework she crafted, she donated to the Methodist Church for their fundraising efforts.
Jan is survived by her husband of 35 years, Paul Moffatt; brother, Wesley Landberg (Claudia); numerous nieces, nephews and a special cousin Sandie Soldwisch.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Community Nursing Service & Hospice, for their loving care of Jan in her last days.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, 2 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell's Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jan online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net .
