PRICE- Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend, Pauline Lovato Santistevan, age 87, lost her battle to cancer on April 19, 2014.
She was born Aug. 21, 1926 in Dixon, N. M. to Antonio and Beneriza Barela Lovato. Married Delfino Santistevan Aug. 19, 1944 in Taos, N. M. He passed away Feb. 27, 2009.
Pauline's greatest accomplishments were being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from the Greenwell Cafe as a fry cook after years of dedicated service. Her style, beauty and love of jewelryalways stood out and she was known to all of her friends as the "pretty lady". Pauline enjoyed dancing and joking with friends. She was a member of the American GI Forum in the early 80's. Pauline will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and her constant companion "Baby Bear".

Survived by her children, Yolanda Santistevan, Salt Lake City, John Santistevan, Brandon, Miss.; sister, Mary (Gilbert) Padilla, Monte Vista, Colo.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delfino; sons, Rudy and Antonio Juan Santistevan.
Funeral Mass, Saturday, April 26, 2014, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Friday evening, 6 p.m.Mitchell Funeral Home.
