Carbon Rodeo draws over 400 athletes from all over Utah to the Carbon County Fairgrounds

With over 400 athletes competing in a variety of events, the Carbon Rodeo at the Carbon County Fairgrounds last week saw plenty of hard work put in by all of the competitors.

For the Carbon Rodeo Team, a handful of team members came away with good finishes in the Utah High School Rodeo Association event.

In the Queen contest, Sadie Waller took fourth place. Dakota Willis finished in 10th place in the Trap Shoot.

In the Tie-down Calf Roping, Zach Jensen finished in seventh place. Jensen and partner Leroy Dansie finished in eighth place in the Team Roping event.

Kortney Baucus had a 14th place finish in the Breakaway Roping event.

Morgan Jensen and Cameron King finished fourth and 17th respectively in the Pole Bending event.

The rodeo was a success overall with all of the competitors from around the state, according to Carbon Rodeo Advisor Jill Jensen.
