PRICE - Katy Ilene Hedden was born on April 13, 1922 to Frank Marion Hedden and Isabell Adkerson in Bicknell, Indiana. She passed away on April 14, 2014 - two hours after her 92nd birthday, in her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family members.

Katy married Walter (Woody) Julian on Jan. 5, 1938. From this marriage came nine children: Glen, Larry (Lora), Johnny, Frank (Sheila), Myrna (Richard), Susie (Gene), Denny (Irene), Doug (Sheryl), Dean (Ying). Katy lived in Dragerton, Utah for several years and had many wonderful friends there. Mom loved to garden. She had great joy from planting flowers (her favorites were roses, irises and honeysuckle bushes) and sharing all of these with others. She loved raising rabbits and loved her dogs.

She later divorced then moved to Price, where she called home for nearly 50 years. It was here she met and married the love of her life, John Passic. She and John loved going fishing and hunting. They were married for only seven short years before his passing.

Of all her loves, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was the icing on her cake of life.

She moved to Salt Lake where she was a CNA, providing nursing services and loving care there.

Later in life she moved to Santa Clara and then Hurricane. Here Katy met and married Bill Regland, who became another love of her life. Mom and grandma will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Glen, her siblings: Frank, Mary, Nellie, Lawrence, and eight half-brothers and sisters, husband John Passic, and 2 grandsons, Frankie and Dane.

Funeral service, Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 2 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at Mitchell's Wednesday one hour prior to service. nterment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Katy online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
